Stranded Family Needs Fresh Start

Once again, we were able to use the donations of many to meet the needs of one. Thank you to everyone who pitched in to help out this family. They no longer are sitting and sleeping on the floor.

Many of the items needed have now been donated, but we are still looking for a few things to help the family settle in. We would like to provide a baby swing, two dressers, two end tables, serving utensils, cups or glasses, a desk with chair, and a TV.

This family is still in need of furniture items. We have been able to provide them with dishes and silverware, but they still have many needs to make a safe home for themselves and their 7-month-old daughter. Thank you for all you do to help others in our community!

A family was on vacation in Pullman when their van broke down. They used all of their available resources to fix the van and are unable to return home. They have now moved into an apartment after two months of being homeless, but have little with which to furnish it. They are in need of the following items: couch, recliner, queen-size mattress and box springs with frame and bedding, pillows, crib (or pack-and-play) with bedding, baby swing, two dressers, bookshelves, end tables, table lamps, coffee table, kitchen table with four chairs, pots and pans, bakeware, silverware, dishes, glasses, serving utensils, bath towels/hand towels/washcloths, baby toys, a desk with chair, and a TV with stand.

Please contact to arrange for a pick-up of your donation. Smaller items may be dropped off at the Real Life offices at 1428 S Blaine St. in Moscow, ID, Monday–Thursday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
