For the last three years, our dream has been to reimagine, upgrade, and expand the play area down the hall from us at the Eastside Marketplace to make more room for kids of all ages, and create spaces for parents and caregivers to gather, study, work, and connect with one another.
After years of fundraising and planning, that dream has finally come to fruition, and the Eastside Marketplace Play Area is now open to children of all ages! Thank you to everyone who has contributed to make this a reality for our community.
Grand Opening August 12 – 16
We will be celebrating with a grand opening during the week of August 12 – 16, featuring various activities and promotions from Eastside businesses, as well as a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:00 AM on August 12.
Play Area Rules
Please help us keep the play area safe, clean, and accessible to everyone by observing the following rules:
- Be courteous of nearby businesses. Keep voices and noise levels under control.
- All adults and children must remove their shoes before entering the play area.
- Children must not be left unattended at any time.
- Climbing on exterior of play structure is prohibited. Serious injury may occur.
- Large play area is for children age 4 and above. Small play area is for ages 3 and under.
- No food, drink, gum or candy allowed in play area.
- Use play area at your own risk.
